Training for LGAs at the National and Regional level

In November and December 2011, the ARIAL programme offers the first set of regional training sessions which aim at strengthening the capacity of local government associations in knowing and influencing development policies and development programmes of national institutions and international partners.

Questionnaire on regional representation of LGA's distributed among LGA's of the Glossary Link ACP group of states with the objective of strengthening LGAs role herein.

Second round of regional trainings

In june 2012 the ARIAL programme organizes the second set of regional trainings. These regional trainings will address two topics. The first topic is policy development and priority-setting. A particular focus will be on drafting position papers. The second part addresses communication and lobby strategies.
